For this project I explored the gesture and movement of birds. I combined the behavioral traits of different birds and imitated their actions. I tried to use my body as a medium, and “explore” different connections with the outside world through imitation of different creature’s behaviors.

I combine different sounds from different space together, and rearrange to create “new space, I believe the possibilities of the sound space are infinite, and it can be reassembled and recreated without limit. I record several sounds like: walking, water drop, eating apple, unresponsive phone ring, microwave sound, key open the door… what I want to make is create a loneliness atmosphere- people back home, but no one there, only the sound of microwave, waterdrop and clock. She calls someone but no body answer. Also, I use the video as a “background”, you can see the video is busy scene, which the car driving on the street.

For this assignment I try to mimic the TV program, separate into 2 parts. First part I create a “documentary” that recording how the people throw the garbage during the daily life, the second part I create “child education” program that introducing how to make a garbage planet. For the “documentary”, I choose the food corner where many people “producing” many garbage.
