Plastic planet
For this assignment I try to mimic the TV program, separate into 2 parts. First part I create a “documentary” that recording how the people throw the garbage during the daily life, the second part I create “child education” program that introducing how to make a garbage planet. For the “documentary”, I choose the food corner where many people “producing” many garbage. I want to directly show how the people do not care about producing the garbage, because they have garbage classification, they do not take any responsibility for their garbage. However, if we do not change the behavior of creating garbage, our planet will eventually become a garbage planet, garbage classification cannot “save” us. I think documentaries are the most direct way to reflect the problems. For the “education” program, I try to create an ironic program, which emphasis how does the people continuously produce garbage, but “we” do not care. In the program, my expression of indifference is to indicate people's attitude of indifference about making garbage. Human beings are the makers of this junk planet, but most people, myself included, turn a blind eye, Therefore, I hope people can understand that a small act can make a huge difference, rather than relying on garbage classification, really reduce the generation of garbage, is the real solution.
